In The Hot Seat – our CEO Forum report

Event 2 Oct 15

On 2 October 2015 senior managers of Aboriginal organisations from across the NT came together in Darwin for our inaugural CEO Forum, In The Hot Seat: Quality Management in Aboriginal Organisations.

NT Chief Minister, The Honourable Adam Giles, opened the Forum, saying it was a “fantastic initiative.” He said: “Forums such as this are an important step towards ensuring that new or emerging Aboriginal businesses run smoothly, avoid conflict, and benefit the whole Aboriginal community.”

Keynote presenter, Torres Strait Islander Leah Armstrong, gave an inspiring speech emphasising the importance of organisational culture. She said: “For long term sustainability, organisational culture should be driving systems change and reflect the organisation’s personality… attention to organisational culture is essential if we are to ensure quality management is sustainable.”
